The only time the Lady Bulldogs trailed in the game was in the first 3 minutes of the game.   After an 11-2 run by the Lady Bulldogs, they led by 10 points at 10:07.   Lindsey Jackson made a 3 point field goal at 5:26 to increase the score to 27-22.  Milligan and Tennessee Wesleyan struggled the last 5 minutes of the half and the score remained at 27-22 going into the locker room.

The Lady Bulldogs maintained their lead throughout the second half and increased the lead to as much as 16 points at 8:29 when Candace Cain made a 2 point field goal.  Athough Milligan fouled trying to get the ball back in the last 2 minutes of the game, the Lady Bulldogs were able to make free throws and finish the game winning 73-63.  

The Lady Bulldogs were led in scoring by Candace Cain with 14 points.  Lindsey Jackson, Katie Blevins, and Amy Jo Castor all contributed 12 points to the Lady Bulldog win.

The Lady Bulldogs will travel to Bluefield on Thursday, February 25th for Post season AAC action starting at 7:30 pm.
