Shorter College and Tennessee Wesleyan College met at the courts for non-conference tennis action on Wednesday afternoon in Athens.
The Bulldogs swept all three doubles competitions en route to an upset of the No. 22-ranked Shorter men's team. Shorter's Badr Cherradi and Luis Quintero scored victories at No. 1 and No. 2 singles over Cody Gaby and Guilherme Cervezao, respectively. Tennessee Wesleyan responded with wins at No. 3 and No. 4 singles by Giovanni Santos and Juan Barciella Estevez. The Bulldogs surrendered just eight combined games in three doubles wins en route to the victory.
