The Lady Bulldogs (#5) played their first game of the AAC Tournament on the road at Bluefield College(#4)  last night and showed they weren't ready for their season to end.    The Lady Bulldogs trailed at the halfway mark by 5 points with a score of 33-28.  The Lady Bulldogs came out strong in the second half and outscored the Lady Rams of Bluefield 40-27 giving them the win with a final score of 68-60. 
The leading scorer for the Lady Bulldogs was Ashton Burrell with 15 points.   Lindsey Jackson and Katie Blevins each contributed 13 points, while Amy Jo Castor had 12 points.  Lindsey Jackson and Candace Cain each pulled down 7 rebounds for the Lady Bulldogs. 
 
Also playing last night was #1 seeded Milligan College against #8 Reinhardt College.  Milligan defeated Reinhardt 67-57.  # 2 Union College defeated #7 Bryan College 69-60.  UVA-Wise (#3) beat Montreat #6 by one point with a score of 67-66.
 
The Lady Bulldogs will now travel to Milligan College on Saturday, February 27th to play in the semi-finals of the AAC tournament at 2:00 pm.
