
The Bulldogs improve to 3-0 after a win at Berry College on Friday. The Bulldogs led early after winning all three doubles points. The closest match was at No. 1 doubles, where Mancelo Peterlini and Daniel Mician lost 8-6 to Cody Gaby and Giovanni Santos. The Bulldogs won 8-2 at No. 2 doubles and 8-3 at No. 3 doubles.
Cody Gaby won the first set 6-4 but Mancelo Peterlini of Berry fought back to win the second set 6-4. With the overall outcome already determined, the match was decided with a super-set tiebreak. Peterlini won the decider 10-4 to get the Vikings' only win at the number-one singles position.
TWC's Tanner Stancil beat Steven Weeks 6-0, 6-0 at No. 6 singles. Then Eric Chastain won the match for the Bulldogs, with a 6-1, 6-1 win over Mark Saporsky at No. 5 singles.
Guilherme Cervezao beat Jonathan Surls 6-2, 6-4 at No. 3 singles and Juan Barciella Estevez won 6-2, 6-0 over Elliot Echols at No. 4 singles. The final match to conclude was No. 2 singles where Giovanni Santos defeated Daniel Mician 7-6 (4) and 6-4.
