The Lady Bulldogs traveled to Maryville College for non-conference softball action against the Scots.   Tennessee Wesleyan was able to come away with two wins, 4-2 in the first game, and 3-1 in the second. 

In the first game, the Lady Bulldogs scored their 4 runs in the first two innings. The Scots scored one run when a triple was hit and then another in the bottom of the 6^th. The Lady Bulldogs were able to hold them to just those two and win 4-2.  The leaders for TWC were Ashton Burrell who went 2 for 3 with a double, Ashley Bryson who was 2 for 3 and Rachele Moretto who was 1 for 4 with 2 RBIs.   Brittany Fox was the winning pitcher going 7 innings giving up 2 runs on 3 hits, and striking out 6. 

In the second game, Maryville tried to get a double header split by scoring first in the second inning and taking a 1-0 lead.  The Lady Bulldogs answered in the third with a pair of two-out runs.  TWC then got added insurance in the sixth with another run to take the 3-1 victory. Ashley Bryson went 1 for 2 with 2 RBIs while Rachele Moretto and Sunni Jackson each had a double.  Paige Goins was the winning pitcher going 7 innings while just giving up one run on 7 hits and striking out 5. 

The Lady Bulldogs play at home on April 1^st beginning at 3:00 pm against the University of the Cumberlands.
