Emily Clevenger puts one in for the Lady Bulldogs

The Lady Bulldogs Lacrosse team played two games on March 27th in Knoxville. The first game was against Coastal Carolina and the second against University of Tennessee.   The Bulldogs won the first game 13-7 and lost the second in overtime 10-11.  The Lady Bulldogs record is now 3-7 with away games the rest of the season.

In the first game, the Lady Bulldogs were lead by Whitney Dixe with 5 goals and two assists. Erica Turgeon had two goals with one assist while Christine Hatton, Jordan Hendrix, Tess Sasse, Marina Tharin, and Cassie Romeo each had one goal. Emily Clevenger contributed one goal and one assist. 

In the game against University of Tennessee, the Lady Bulldogs took the game into overtime scoring at the last minute. The Lady Volunteers scored two more in the first 5 minutes of overtime. The Lady Bulldogs were able to score one more in the last 3 minutes but couldn't get another to tie the game again.  Leading the Lady Bulldogs was Emily Clevenger with 4 goals and one assist.  Cassie Romeo and Whitney Dixe had 2 goals. Dixe also had one assist.  Serra Kerley and Christine Hatton each put in one goal for the Lady Bulldogs.  Tess Sasse had one assist.

The Lady Bulldogs play at SCAD on Friday April 2nd and Saturday April 3rd. They play against Georgia Southern on Friday at 7:00 pm and then against SCAD on Saturday at 11:00 am.
