Brittany Fox gets the win and the save
The Lady Bulldogs traveled to UVA-Wise for an AAC doubleheader.  The Lady Bulldogs came away with two wins to increase their conference record to 6-4.  In the first game the Lady Bulldogs won 7-4 and then 7-5 in the second.
In the first game, Megan Arndts led the team going 3 for 3 with 2 doubles and 2 RBIs.   Sunni Jackson was 3 for 4 with a double.   Ashley Byrson went 1 for 3 with a double and 3 RBIs.    Brittany Fox was the winning pitcher going 7 innings and only giving up 4 runs on 9 hits and striking out 2. 
                           
The second game leader was Ashton Burrell who went 4 for 5 with one RBI.   Ashley Bryson went 1 for 2 with 2 RBIs.  Brittany Monday was the winning pitcher going 7 innings giving up 5 runs on 8 hits while striking out 12.  Brittany Fox came in as relief to get the save.
                                       
The Lady Bulldogs play today, Wednesday, April 7th at home against Reinhardt College.  The doubleheader will begin at 2:00 pm.  On Saturday, they will also play at home at 1:00 pm against Bluefield College.
