The Bulldogs played in the AAC Tournament in Chattanooga, TN on April 23rd. Tennessee Wesleyan had a by in the first round of play and defeated Milligan 5-0 in the second round. The Bulldogs advanced to the finals to play Union College, which was their only AAC loss of the regular season. The Bulldogs were defeated 5-2.
It was a Union sweep of the doubles that set up the decision, but two of those matches went to tie-break games. TWC's Cody Gaby and Giovanni Santos led 7-6 before falling 9-8 (7-5) in a tie-breaker. Neal Baldwin and Guilmerme Cervezao were on top 5-3 before Union eventually drew even and again prevailed 9-8 with a 7-5 advantage in the tie-breaker. Eric Chastain and Juan Estevez lost 8-3. In singles play. Cervezao and Chastain won 6-1, 6-2 and 6-2, 6-0, respectively. Santos lost 6-4, 6-4 and Baldwin lost 6-1, 6-2. Gaby's match stood at 6-4, 4-6, 4-3 and Estevez led his match 7-5, 3-2 when the clinching point was recorded.
