Michelle Scannell has signed with the Lady Bulldogs to play Lacrosse beginning in the fall of 2010. She has been around the sport since she was little. Her dad played in high school, then at the University of Maryland, and then on a Men's team. Michelle first learned lacrosse with a guys stick and loved going to the games.
Michelle started playing her freshman year of high school. She typically plays attack, but also can play middie. Michelle has made the all-star team all four years, MVP for 3 and captain for 2. Her scoring has improved each year, scoring 88 goals her sophomore year, 94 her junior, and 96 her senior year. This season her team won the championship game of the West Florida Lacrosse League with an undefeated record. Michelle is proud of the fact that she is the first player to be recruited from the West Florida Lacrosse League. Michelle has a passion for lacrosse and is excited to continue playing as well as contribute to more wins.
