Hamilton Bennett, a pitcher at Tennessee Wesleyan College from Tega Cay, SC, threw a perfect game on Saturday May 1st against UVA-Wise. The Bulldogs won 5-0 over the Cavaliers.   The pitcher has been named AAC Pitcher of the Week.  He finished the regular season 7-1, with 6 walks to 66 strikeouts, in 56.0 innings of work.  Bennett is among the elite, being the 20th pitcher in NAIA history to pitch a perfect game.   He ranks number 3 in NAIA Division I in total walks allowed, number 5 in walks allowed per nine, number 17 in batters struck out per 9, and 47th in total runs allowed.
