The Bulldogs needed one more win to make it to the finals of the AAC Tournament and they were able to pull out a 2-1 win over Milligan College. The Bulldogs will play in the Championship game against Bluefield College who was able to win over Union College. 

Although Milligan College took an early lead scoring in the first inning, the Bulldogs held them to their one run the rest of the game.  The Bulldogs scored one run in the 2nd inning and one in the 4th to take the lead. The Bulldogs had 12 hits but just couldn't get moved around the bases to score more.  

Brad Pippa led the Bulldogs with 3 hits, while Ryan Santos, Rafael Carlot, and C.J. McElroy each had 2 hits. Cody Gaskill, Andrew Tharp, and David Lindsey also had a hit for the Bulldogs.  Matt Brennan started the game for the Bulldogs pitching 6 innings. He gave up 1 run on 5 hits while striking out 2. Daniel Wood came in as relief for two innings giving up one hit and striking out run. Max Loveland got the save pitching the final inning and giving up only one hit. 

The Bulldogs play at 11:00 am on May 12th in the AAC Championship game against Bluefield College.
