Baseball's Opening Round began on Tuesday with a tough 4 - 3 loss to Southern Polytechnical State University of Georgia. The loss moved the Bulldogs into the loser's bracket where they played Indiana University-Southeast this morning and won 6-4.  The Bulldogs continued in the tournament playing  against Indiana Tech and winning 5-3.  The Bulldogs defeated LSU-Shreveport 6-5 and then Southern Poly 5-4.  The Bulldogs play today at 11:00 am against Southern Poly for the Championship of the Opening round.  If they win they will continue on to the 2010 Avista- NAIA World Series.
