In the 47^th round the New York Yankees picked Frederick Lewis from Tennessee Wesleyan.  Lewis is a 6-2 left handed pitcher from Gainesville Florida.   The junior went 4-5 with a 4.19 ERA in 58 innings.  Lewis also helped the Bulldogs by pinch hitting in crucial times.  He had 6 hits with one homerun and one double during the season.
