Athens, TN - Summer baseball in is full swing. Here is a look at current and incoming bulldogs and how they are fairing in college summer leagues around the country.

Valley League

Rising Senior and 1st Team NAIA All American Cody Gaskill has started 21 games for the Winchester Royals. Gaskill is hitting .273 in seventy seven plate appearances with nine runs scored. The second baseman has tallied six doubles, one homerun, and driven in fifteen.  (For more pictures of the Winchester Royals you can visit  www.haymarketjoephotography.com)
 
Rising Senior Rafael Carlot has just joined the Stanton Braves. Carlot has played 1 game and has .333 average with a double in three plate appearances.
 
Also playing for the Stanton Braves is incoming transfer Stephen Branca. He has played in 20 games and is hitting .211 with seventy six at bats and fourteen runs scored. The shortstop form Valrico, FL. has hit six doubles, one homerun, and driven in nine Braves. Branca has swiped seven bags in those 20 starts.
 
Cape Cod League
Rising Senior and 1st Team AAC outfield selection Jonny Smith is playing for the Warhem Gateman. Smith is hitting .243 with thirty seven at bats. The returning bulldog from New York has crossed the plate eight times to go along with two runs batted in and two stolen bases.
 
Southern Collegiate League

Incoming Junior College Transfer Sam Munson is playing for the Tennessee Tornado. The 1st Team All Tennessee Junior College selection is hitting .345 with 55 plate appearances. The incoming junior from Wisconsin has played in seventeen games and has scored six runs. Munson has tallied six doubles, two homeruns while driving in eleven. Munson is also five for six in stolen bases.

Incoming Junior College Transfer Jordan Guida is playing along side Munson for the Tennessee Tornado. Guida is hitting .289 in seventy six plate appearances. The Glendale AZ native has played in 13 games. The 1st Team All Arizona Junior College selection has nine doubles, one homerun, and has driven in seven. Jordan is seven for eight in stolen bases this summer.
