The Tennessee Wesleyan College Cross Country Team competed in their first meet of the year on Saturday, August 28th at Lee University.  In the men's 8000 meter run, Tennessee Wesleyan placed 2nd.  Thomas Barker finished 5th individually, while Justin Greer, Matthew Cox, and Juan Estevez finished 10th through 12th respectively.  Also running for Tennessee Wesleyan was Adam Billings (16th), Justin Busch (18th), Willie Rucker (19th), and Andy Watson (25th). 

In the women's 5000 meter run, the Lady Bulldogs finished in second place.  Sarah Birgin had the best time of 20:29.38 for the Lady Bulldogs finishing  4th in the individual competition.   Candace Cain was in 10th, Jill Johnson, 12th, Raven Rolt, 15th, Heidi Haynes, 16th, Emilee Self, 18th, Shannon Gates, 20th, and Brittany Rothfolk, 22nd.
