The Lady Bulldogs gave a great effort on Friday night in their season opener against Asbury University, however experienced a loss of 3-0 (25-17, 25-22, 29-27).   Dimon Darden, a freshman from Chattanooga, TN, led the Lady Bulldogs with 5 kills.  Kaylan Powers, a freshman from Harrogate, TN,  had 9 digs while Emily Grady, a senior from Morganton, NC,  had 12 assists.
