David Bergin tossed the first six innings, allowing two runs on five hits, striking out six and walking one.

Wesleyan snapped a 1-1 tie with three runs in the fourth on singles from David Linsday and Ryan Santos, a double from Johnny Smith and a sacrifice fly. St. Francis tied the game with two runs in the eighth off reliever Corey Collins and took a 5-4 lead in the ninth with a run off Ben Crocker. Wesleyan missed a chance to win the game in the bottom of the inning. Cody Gaskill doubled and with one out, Sam Munson walked, Jordan Guida received an intentional pass and Rafael Carlot was hit by pitch to force home a run, tying the game and leaving the bases loaded.

Two ground ball outs, however, stranded the runners and sent the game to extra innings. Neither team posed a serious threat until the 13th when a hit, wild pitch, passed ball and a two-out single provided St. Francis with the winning run off reliever Matt Brennan.

Both teams has 12 hits. Santos was 3-for-5 with two RBIs. Lindsay had three hits while Gaskill and Munson had two each.

Munson's three-run homer in the fifth made it 10-5. Ronnie Phelps pitched two scoreless innings of relief, but Crocker had to get the final two outs in the seventh in relief of Drew Housewright after St. Francis scored twice and had the tying run at the plate.

TWC collected 13 hits with Smith, Munson, Bergin and Lindsay having two each. Munson had three RBIs while Bergin and Santos each had two.
