The Bulldogs hosted Tennessee Temple from Chattanooga, TN on Wednesday for a single 9-inning game that only lasted 7 innings due to the 10 run rule. The Bulldogs got a lot of time at bat scoring runs in every inning and ending the game 22-5.
Corey Collins started for Wesleyan and left the game after three innings with a 10-1 lead. Collins gave up three hits, struck out six and walked one. Wesleyan took a 1-0 lead in the first on a Munson single.

Gaskill slammed a three-run homer in a five-run second while Carlot had a solo shot and Johnny Smith a two-run homer in the four-run fourth. Matt Brennan tossed two scoreless innings, surrendering one hit and striking out two.

Wesleyan added two runs in the fourth on Carlot's double. Gaskill, Stephen Branca, Jordan Guida and Carlot all had hits as TWC posted three more runs in the fifth to lead 15-1. Josh McDaniel pitched the sixth, allowing one run on one hit with one strikeout and one walk. The Bulldogs sent 13 batters to the plate in the sixth, scoring seven runs. C.J. McElroy closed out the game, giving up three runs on two hits with a walk and error accounting for the Temple scoring in the seventh. 

Senior first baseman Rafael Carlot led the TWC barrage, going 4-for-5 on the day, including a home run and double - driving in five runs. Cody Gaskill homered among three hits for the Bulldogs and Sam Munson added three hits with a double, each collecting three RBIs. In addition Branca, David Lindsay and Anthony Boix had two hits each. Smith, David Bergin and Lindsay each had two RBIs.

Four Wesleyan pitchers combined on a seven-hitter, striking out nine and walking three.

Wesleyan (12-5) will start its Florida swing with a game against the University of St. Francis (IL) on Saturday, March 5, faces Marian College on Sunday, then Saint Thomas University on Monday at 10:00 am with games being played in Sanford, FL . The Bulldogs will then travel to Embry-Riddle to play on Tuesday at 6:00 pm and on Wednesday at 3:00 pm.  The Bulldogs return home for their first conference action against Montreat College on March 12th and 13th, with a double header beginning at 12:00 on Saturday and a single game on Sunday at 2:00 pm.
