Tennessee Wesleyan traveled to Florida for Spring Break games. First they played in the Florida All Star College Baseball Jamboree against St Francis University (IL), Marian University, and Saint Thomas. The Bulldogs then traveled to Embry Riddle University for a game on Tuesday night and one on Wednesday. 

On Saturday, the Bulldogs knocked off St. Francis University (Illinois), 5-3. David Bergin improved his record to 5-0, allowing three runs on six hits while striking out three and walking one over 7 1/3 innings. Noah Piard picked up his first save with 1 2/3 innings of scoreless relief, striking out three and giving up two hits. Trailing 2-0 after one inning, the Bulldogs got one run back in the fifth, two more in the seventh and scored single runs in each of the final two innings. Johnny Smith had two of TWC's nine hits and drove in three runs. Sam Munson had a hit and two runs scored while Anthony Boix had two hits and a run scored.

On Sunday, Wesleyan downed Marian University (Indiana), 10-4. Josh McDaniel was the unlucky starter, allowing four unearned runs as the Bulldogs committed three errors. McDaniel surrendered six hits, walked three and struck out four, leaving the game after six innings with the score tied at four. Ben Crocker picked up the win with two innings of hitless relief and struck out two. Ronnie Phelps pitched the ninth frame, giving up one hit. Wesleyan snapped the 4-4 knot with four runs in the eighth and added two insurance runs in the ninth. Stephen Branca accounted for three of TWC's 14 hits with a double, RBI and run scored. Bergin had three hits, including a pair of doubles and a home run, with two runs scored and two RBIs. Ryan Carlot added three hits with a double. Jordan Guida chipped in with two hits, Ryan Santos one and David Lindsay one. Santos and Lindsay had two RBIs.

On Monday, Wesleyan was defeated 12-2 in 7 innings by Saint Thomas. Corey Collins pitched 4.2 innings giving up 9 hits and 6 runs. He struck out 5 and walked one. Coming in for relief was Matt Brennan who gave up 3 hits and 3 runs, Will Ickes who gave up 2 runs, and Drew Housewright giving up one hit and one run. The Bulldogs had a total of 7 hits with Jonny Smith have 2 hits and one double. Rafael Carlot also had two hits, while David Lindsay, Cody Gaskill, and Anthony Boix each had one. The Bulldogs committed 3 errors. 

The Bulldogs traveled to Daytona Beach for two games against Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in which the Bulldogs went 0-2. They lost the first one 8-2. The Bulldogs were down 8-0 going into the 9th inning and were only able to score two. The Bulldogs had 8 hits and one RBI. Jonny Smith had two hits with one being a double. Also having hits were Tanner Quirk, Rafael Carlot, Ryan Santos, Jordan Guida, Stephen Branca, and Sam Munson. Noah Piard pitched 5 innings giving up 5 runs on 8 hits.  He struck out 3 and walked 4. Ronnie Phelps came in as relief to pitch 2 innings. He gave up 3 runs on 5 hits, striking out 2 and walking 2. Drew Housewright closed the game striking out 3 and walking 2. 

The Bulldogs were down 6-0 when they came back to score 2 in the third and then 2 in the 4th inning. However, Embry Riddle came back to score two more in the 5th. The Bulldogs scored one in the 7th to make it the final score of 5-8. The Bulldogs had 13 hits and 4 RBI's. Stephen Branca had 3 hits including a triple. Anthony Biox had a double. Rafael Carlot and Ryan Santos had three hits, while Cody Gaskill got 2 for the Bulldogs. Also getting hits was Jordan Guida.  Matt Brennan pitched 4.2 innings for the Bulldogs giving up all 8 runs on 8 on 7 hits.  Ben Crocker came in as relief for 2.1 innings and Josh McDaniel closed the game.

The Bulldogs play at home this weekend for their first AAC series against Montreat College. They play on Saturday, March 12 at 12:00 pm in a double header and then play on Sunday at 1:00 in a 9-inning game.
