The Bulldogs competed in the first meet of the season on Saturday at Fletcher Park in Cleveland, TN.  The Bulldogs finished strong with 3 runners in the top 10.  Hilary Cheruiyot finished first for the Bulldogs and first overall.  Cheruiyot finished the race with a time of 26:50.27 beating the Meet record.  Thomas Barker finished 3rd overall (27:47.47) and Caleb Young finishes 9th (28:40.06).   Also running for the Buldogs is Justin Greer (26th), Troy Torbett (33rd), AJ Whited (37th), and Andy Watson (43rd). 

Tennessee Wesleyan finished 3rd out of 5 teams.   Finishing first was Lee University followed by Emmanuel College.   Also competing was Truett-McConnell and Southern Wesleyan University. 

The Bulldogs run next in the Berry Invitational on September 10th.
