Head Coach- 7th Season
Coach Harrison took over the Lady Bulldog golf program in 2006. Although fairly new to coaching golf, he is not new to Tennessee Wesleyan or to coaching. He has been with the college since 1982 and coached women's basketball at the college for 24 years. Under his tutelage, the program has seen steady progress. The team won the Appalachian Athletic Conference and NAIA Region XII championship in 2007-2008 and advanced to the NAIA National Tournament. Due to the success of the team in 2007 - 2008, Coach Harrison was named NAIA Region XII Coach of the Year. The 2008 - 2009 team won the Appalachian Athletic Conference Champiopnship and again advanced to the NAIA National Championships. Coach Harrison was named the AAC Coach of the Year for 2008 - 2009.
In addition to his coaching duties, Stan is the Vice President for Enrollment Services. In that role, he oversees the operation of admissions, financial aid and athletics. He also teaches part time in the Exercise and Sport Sciences Department. He has been married to his wife, Debbie since 1972. Together they have two children, Chris and Jennifer and eight grandchildren, Jacob, Taylor, Hayden, Maddie, Todd,  Andrew, Carter and Cooper.

Head Coach- 3rd Season

Jeff Rice enters his fifth season as the head coach of the Women's Basketball program. Last Season Coach Rice directed the Lady Bulldogs to the ACC tournament championship as well as a bid to the NAIA Division 2 National Tournament. His overall record stands at 76-55. Prior to being named head coach, Coach Rice served as an assistant to Coach Harrison for 16 seasons. During that time, the program won over 325 games, won six conference championships, and participated in six NAIA national tournaments. He was also the head softball coach from 1995-2006, where he directed the program to 6 conference championships and 9 region appearances. His career softball record was 350-234. Coach Rice was named conference coach of the year 3 times. This summer Coach Rice was also named the Head Women's Golf Coach.


Coach Rice's teams have been very sucessful on the court and in the classroom.  Sixty players have been selected first All-Conference, including six conference players of the year.  Also, twenty-five players have been selected All-Region.  Twenty players have been names as NAIA Academic All-Americans.  Every one of his former players who have finished their playing eligibility has either graduated or is currently working toward a degree.


Coach Rice came to Tennessee Wesleyan in the fall of 1989 to work under Coach Stan Harrison and to participate in baseball.  "I figured out very early that playing in the major leagues was not in my future plans and that I should work at something that I was going to do for the rest of my life."


Coach Rice is originally from Jonesborough, TN and a 1989 graduate of David Crockett High School, where he played for current TWC Men's basketball coach Mike Poe.  He is a '94 graduate of Tennessee Wesleyan, resides in Athens and is married to the former Tiffany Jones.  He has two step-children, Gage and Sydnee.
