Angela Tomchik - Head Coach
Angela Tomchik is the Tennessee Wesleyan women's lacrosse head coach. She is originally from Wilbraham, Massachusetts, where she was a three sport athlete at Minnechaug Regional High school, playing soccer, basketball and lacrosse.
Tomchik spent a year recruiting last year to bring in the team for the 08-09 season. Previously, she assistant coached for two years at American International College in Springfield, Massachusetts, a division II NCAA school and part of the NE 10 conference. She also served as the assistant coach for the soccer team at AIC for one season.
Angela graduated with a criminal justice degree from Limestone College in Gaffney, South Carolina where she was a four year starter as a defender for the women's lacrosse team. Limestone was regular season Conference Champions for the CVAC conference in 2003 and 2004. Also in 2004, Tomchik helped her team advance to the National Tournament in Orlando, Florida where they tied for third place. She stayed on an extra year as a student assistant coach for the lady saints.
