2008 Men's Cross Country Coaches
Ray Stone - Head Coach
Coach Stone is entering his fifth season as cross country head coach and men's basketball assistant coach at Tennessee Wesleyan College. As a 2000 graduate of TWC, Coach Stone played two years for the Bulldogs after transferring from Motlow State Community College.
After graduating from TWC, Coach Stone worked as an Admissions Counselor for three years. After pursuing another career, Coach Stone came back to TWC with his hard work ethics and winning attitude. Coach Stone also has a son, Ray Stone, III.
Josh Boggess - Assistant Coach
Coach Boggess is beginning his coaching career as a student assistant for the Mens and Womens Cross Country teams at Tennessee Wesleyan College. Coach Boggess ran in high school and signed with TWC in March of 2004. While at TWC he ran all four years finishing second overall for the Bulldogs. He is currently on track to graduate in May of 2009 with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Administration. He is also an Assistant Coach for McMinn Central High School in Englewood, where he plans on continuing his coaching passion after graduating.
