Coach Stephen Lyons enters his third year as head coach for the men's soccer team at Tennessee Wesleyan College.  Coach Lyons is originally from Middlesbrough, England.  Lyons played soccer for the Bulldogs (1998-2002) and graduated from TWC with a Bachelors Degree in Business.  He was the captain of the team that went to the National Tournament.  Before coming to TWC to coach he was a graduate assistant coach at the University of Saint Mary, in Kansas from 2006-08, where he received his MBA.

Coach Lyons has been recognized with awards for All Conference, All Region and All-American.  He went on to play two seasons in the New Zealand National League and returned to England to coach at Middlesbrough F.C Youth Academy.  He has attained FA Level Two Coaching License, USSF "C" license and is currently working on the UEFA B License.  Coach Lyons is Director of Coaching for McMinn United FC. 

Coach Blankley is returning to TWC after attending from 1999-2004 and playing four years of soccer and basketball to assist Coach Lyons as they direct the Bulldog soccer program.  He is originally from Chesterfield, England.  While playing soccer at TWC he was named All Conference during his four years of collegiate play and also was a member of the soccer team that attended the National Tournament.  He graduated from TWC with a Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science.

Coach Blankley returned to England to teach and coach West Nott's College Youth Soccer Academy and Eckington School.  He also played and coached Ashover FC at the semi-pro level.
