Coach Mike Poe begins his eighth season as the Men's Basketball Coach at Tennessee Wesleyan College. He has a career record of 111-109 at TWC. Under the direction of Coach Poe the Bulldogs have won two AAC Championships and have made two trips to the NAIA National Tournament. Coach Poe is a 1980 graduate of Tennessee Wesleyan College. He spent 23 years coaching high school (347-203 career record) before returning to his alma mater. Coach Poe and his wife Sandy reside in Athens.

Coach Stone is entering his seventh season as cross country head coach and men's basketball assistant coach at Tennessee Wesleyan College. As a 2000 graduate of TWC, Coach Stone played two years for the Bulldogs after transferring from Motlow State Community College.

After graduating from TWC, Coach Stone worked as an Admissions Counselor for three years. After pursuing another career, Coach Stone came back to TWC with his hard work ethics and winning attitude. Coach Stone also has a son, Ray Stone, III.
