Head Coach
2nd Season

Jenna Handshoe, a native of Greeneville, South Carolina, is entering into her first season as the Head Coach of the Women's Lacrosse.  She attended J. L. Mann High School before going on to attend Presbyterian College.

In high school, Handshoe helped J.L. Mann to win the 2006 South Carolina State Championship. She was named the Tournament MVP and the South Carolina Defensive Player of the Year.  At Presbyterian College, in Clinton, South Carolina, she led the Blue Hose in points (49), goals (36), free position goals (8), shots (70), and shots on goal (60) her senior year (2010). She also led in goals her junior year with 28. In 2008, the season was cut short, but Handshoe scored 15 goals in the four games that were played.   Jenna was Nationally Ranked in NCAA Division II in 2007 for ground balls and caused turnovers. After that time, Presbyterian went through re-divisioning to become Division I and was not in the rankings during the rest of her college career. In 2010, Handshoe was named to the Big South annual Presidential Honor Roll.  Handshoe was named to the Second-Team All-Conference her senior year and was a member of the All-Tournament team her junior year.  Handshoe not only played Lacrosse, but was also a basketball player her freshman year at Presbyterian.

After graduating from Presbyterian, Handshoe worked as a volunteer Coach at Presbyterian College, as well as a coach with Excel Lacrosse Camp for girls in South Carolina.  Handshoe spent time last year as a referee and she is now a US Lacrosse Level 2 official.
