Michael Moody - Assistant Coach
Coach Moody enters his ninth year with the Tennessee Wesleyan Baseball program where he has been a part of seven conference championships and two region championships. This season marks his fifth as an assistant coach; prior to coaching, he was a four year varsity player in the Bulldog program.
During his career as a player from 2000 to 2003, he helped the Bulldgos earn two conference championships and recognition on the national stage when TWC climbed to 3rd in the country in 2003. As a pitcher, Michael finished at the pinnacle of his career with a 6-1 record and a 1.55 ERA, and he also holds the all time appearance record.
Michael began his coaching career in 2005 after graduating from Tennessee Wesleyan with a degree in Exercise Science. During his tenure as a coach, he has been part of five conference championships and two region championships. In addition, he has seen numerous Bulldog players drafted to play professional baseball.
A lifelong resident of McMinn County, Michael currently resides in Athens with his wife, Dana. They are both members of Glenlock Baptist Church and are active in the youth ministry.
