Margaret Ligon joined the Tennessee Wesleyan University Athletic Training staff in the fall of 2015. She graduated from Georgia Southern University in 2013 with a B.S. in Athletic Training. During her time at Georgia Southern she served as a student athletic trainer working with a variety of sports including GSU football, baseball, swimming & diving, men’s soccer, and cheerleading, and two area high schools.
In 2015, Margaret received her Masters of Education in Kinesiology with an emphasis in human performance from Georgia College. During her two years at GC, she worked as a graduate assistant in both the academic and clinical settings of Athletic Training. While there she assisted in providing coverage for local high school football games in the fall of 2013, and covered GC intramural games 2014-2015. She has also spent time as a staff member during the Region III girls Olympic Development Program soccer camps summer of 2014.
